Planning your way to college: Sophomore Action Plan

Start preparing for the CHASSE exam (Start studying for the CHASSE exam months before you take it, if you start 

studying for the exam  months ahead you will get a better score). 




Get involved in sports, clubs, student government, etc.




Make sure your enrolled in a foreign language- you must have 2 years, 3 recommended




Keep your grades up!





Make sure you are taking electives that are UC / CSU approved- look in your class catalog to see.






Make an appointment with your counselor during the school year to make sure you are taking the right
 

classes for junior year.







Try to enroll in AP or honors classes when they are available towards the end of the year. (for junior year)
